My initial experiences using Diigo have been fairly pleasant. I thought that I would be able to manage figuring out how to work it on my own, but I definitely had to watch the tutorial videos. I like that on Diigo we are able to share a website with a group and even annotate it so that the group can also view it, I think that will be a useful tool as a teacher. One thing that I don't love about Diigo is that when you are on the group page, it is a bit chaotic and can be confusing to see what is what.
I have really enjoyed blogging so far. I think that our blog assignments are a great way to incorporate what we are learning in class to our own understanding. I like blogging because I enjoy being able to complete my assignment while also being able to use comfortable language, and not have to be so formal. It is also fun to think that it is kind of like a little discussion with our professor every week. I have nothing bad to say about blogging, I enjoy it and Professor Bagby's tutorials in class on how to navigate Blogger make it a breeze.
A Web 2.0 tool that I would personally choose to use when teaching would once again be Quizlet. It is such a useful tool for learning and studying. Students are able to view flashcards, take practice tests, or even participate in a little group competition on Quizlet Live with learning material. It is nice that I could make study guides on Quizlet for my students, or they could even make their own if they wanted to. The site is so easy to navigate and it is also an app.
