I would say that I have a good experience with Microsoft Word. I have been using it for years and I also took an introduction to technology class, so I know my way around it well. I have used other word processing softwares like Google Docs, but I find that I prefer Word. Since I have used it for so long, it is easier for me to manage and I also feel like Word has a much bigger variety of tools available than other softwares. I have written countless papers on Word for school, and I have also used it for other school projects, such as creating a brochure.

I believe that all of the standards for educators are very important. They all have their different roles in improving teachers and therefore improving learning for students. However, I do believe that for an educator to be a learner is probably the most important standard. Educators can learn to better their teaching methods by observing and practicing other teachers strategies. Teachers can learn by keeping up with all the new technological advances that are constantly being made and enable themselves to use any kind of helpful resources that become available to them. Teachers can also continue learning by really paying attention to and observing what works for their students learning experiences and what does not. I believe this is so important for educators because they need to be able to relate to their students and their individual learning processes in order to provide them with the best education they can get.

I think I will disagree with the term "digital natives" being used for entire generations of people. To be a digital native is to be someone born in the time of the Internet and fluent in using digital technology. I do not think that everyone born during a certain time should be referred to as a digital native, because not everyone has access to all this technology and resources that come with it. I have not seen huge differences in how my peers and my teachers use technology. I learn most of my technological knowledge through my teachers, in fact. It is my hope that I will be a learning teacher and keep up with technological advancements in order to be on the same level as my future students and provide them with the best resources I am able to.

My name is Kaeli and I am from Jacksonville, Florida. I am currently attending Florida State University as a junior and pursuing my bachelor's degree in family and child sciences, with a minor in education. It is my goal to have a career as an elementary teacher after I graduate. I come from a big family, with 6 siblings. I have an English Bulldog named Piper and she is my whole world. I have always loved to read and I do so with any spare time I have between school, work, and a social life.      I believe that I most likely have as much technological knowledge and experience as the average college student. I have used technology in an educational setting since middle school, with presentations made using Powerpoint, or papers written in Word, but not much else outside of that. I suppose these last few semesters I have used technology in an educational setting more than ever, and can include Zoom in my technological abilities. I do not have any experience with writing or main

The Web Design assignment was actually a pretty fun assignment to complete. The Weebly website is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It was fun getting to design all of the pages in any way I wanted to. I do not have any complaints about the assignment, I thought it was a fun and easy project, all of the design elements are right there with a click of a button. I will actually very likely use this site during my future career as a teacher, if it us authorized. I think it is a great way to have a place with information that can be easily accessed by parents and students, and allow an extra form of communication. http://kaelilegg.weebly.com/ I think that Diigo is a great site for both students like myself and for teachers. It is a little complicated to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, it can be really useful. It is a great tool for both team and individual work as you can share links to websites, annotations, leave notes, and it can all be published for everyone in a

Distance learning was very unexpected and has had its advantages and disadvantages. I have liked that in some of my classes I am able to move at my own pace and work from the comfort of my home. However, it can be very distracting when I am sitting at my computer all day with nothing else to do. It was also really disappointing for me when we moved to distance learning because I was accepted to FSU the next semester, so I have not had the opportunity to really make any friends or anything here. As a teacher, if we were doing distance learning I would go out of my way to ensure that I create personal relationships with every one of my students. Having a real connection is so beneficial and makes a learning environment more comfortable. Open educational resources are resources meant to be accessible to any students. This helps to improve the educational community, as it benefits those who cannot afford all of their school supplies. For example, if a student is taking a class, but cannot
