Copyright is basically the legal rights of people who have their own content, and it prevents others from using or copying said content. People who own their content can give others permission to use their content. However, this is not the same concept as fair use. Fair use would be when people do not technically have permission to use copyrighted works, but do so anyway in small amounts. As a teacher, I think it would be very important to be creative in what works for me and my classroom, so I would try my best to come up with my own methods, but there are also so many teachers and teaching materials out there that do not have copyright issues that would be great resources to try to pool together at times. With students, I would try to teach them that everyone thinks differently and it is important to come up with original content and ideas, but I would also explain that collaboration can be a very useful tool for discovering new ideas, too.

There are many issues that can come about with technology implementation.  One of those is decreased productivity. I really do not think it matters what age you are teaching, there are going to be students who will get distracted and do things they are not supposed to be doing on a computer. With that in mind, I think it would be important to have maybe some kind of reward system for good/correct behavior when using technology. For example, I know when I was younger, it was always really excited when the class got to go to the computer lab or use laptops. The class should know that if every student is on their best behavior on the technology, they will have the opportunity to have more time on it. If they are not able to behave properly, the technology is taken away for the day and there is a discussion on proper behavior. Another issue is lack of funding. I am not an expert on how funding for schools works, but I know that schools have fundraisers all the time. That being said, I think if a school is short on money, or it is not in the budget at all for technology, then a fundraiser should be organized. Even something as simple as a bake sale can help to raise a good amount of money.

I actually really enjoyed making my newsletter for this class. It was fun to pretend to be a teacher and have my own class and it made me really excited for my future career. Through the process I learned how to work with the tables option on Microsoft Word, which I have never used before. I also learned how to make everything fit, but also look aesthetically pleasing on the page. I think that the assignment also taught me some time management, because it ended up taking me way longer than I expected it to. I will definitely use this learning experience in my future career because I think sending out a newsletter to parents is very helpful and would probably be very appreciated by many people.

My name is Kaeli and I am from Jacksonville, Florida. I am currently attending Florida State University as a junior and pursuing my bachelor's degree in family and child sciences, with a minor in education. It is my goal to have a career as an elementary teacher after I graduate. I come from a big family, with 6 siblings. I have an English Bulldog named Piper and she is my whole world. I have always loved to read and I do so with any spare time I have between school, work, and a social life.      I believe that I most likely have as much technological knowledge and experience as the average college student. I have used technology in an educational setting since middle school, with presentations made using Powerpoint, or papers written in Word, but not much else outside of that. I suppose these last few semesters I have used technology in an educational setting more than ever, and can include Zoom in my technological abilities. I do not have any experience with writing or main

The Web Design assignment was actually a pretty fun assignment to complete. The Weebly website is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It was fun getting to design all of the pages in any way I wanted to. I do not have any complaints about the assignment, I thought it was a fun and easy project, all of the design elements are right there with a click of a button. I will actually very likely use this site during my future career as a teacher, if it us authorized. I think it is a great way to have a place with information that can be easily accessed by parents and students, and allow an extra form of communication. http://kaelilegg.weebly.com/ I think that Diigo is a great site for both students like myself and for teachers. It is a little complicated to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, it can be really useful. It is a great tool for both team and individual work as you can share links to websites, annotations, leave notes, and it can all be published for everyone in a

Distance learning was very unexpected and has had its advantages and disadvantages. I have liked that in some of my classes I am able to move at my own pace and work from the comfort of my home. However, it can be very distracting when I am sitting at my computer all day with nothing else to do. It was also really disappointing for me when we moved to distance learning because I was accepted to FSU the next semester, so I have not had the opportunity to really make any friends or anything here. As a teacher, if we were doing distance learning I would go out of my way to ensure that I create personal relationships with every one of my students. Having a real connection is so beneficial and makes a learning environment more comfortable. Open educational resources are resources meant to be accessible to any students. This helps to improve the educational community, as it benefits those who cannot afford all of their school supplies. For example, if a student is taking a class, but cannot
